This was my first lux vibe purchase, and yes, it is worth it. The material itself is just clearly higher quality. It doesn't have a weird obviously plastic feeling- it feels warm and velvety to the touch. It fits perfectly in my palm, where my thumb can still easily adjust the controls without having to reposition myself. The "ears" on it are very sturdy and deliver fantastic vibrations with only a minimal decrease when more pressure is applied- I've had vibes that totally stop with pressure. I don't get the "waves" sensation that some people say they get from this toy, I guess the independent vibes in mine are more closely synced than on others. The charge lasts a super long time with no real change in power until the battery is absolutely on its last legs. Plus! Rechargeable! I'm sick of how many batteries I was going through with my previous less expensive toys. Not very earth-friendly.
If you're on the fence about dropping big $$ on a lux vibe purchase, you should! This one is totally worth it, and I hope to buy other toys from this company. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.
